Steve Harvey is an individual that seems to have been dropping knowledge repeatedly. The Miss America pageant was a mistake in everyone’s eyes, but as anyone with good character would do, he took full responsibility for his actions. He saw it as a failure and dealt with it accordingly.
So, when Steve Harvey gets in front of you at a game show, or any other place and starts talking to you about success, rather than the contestants or his guests, you better listen.
Steve Harvey Talks About Success
A successful life is only fulfilled when that person deems it complete. However, I believe that success is an ongoing journey that teaches and helps others achieve what you have figured out in life.
Each individual has his or her definition of success but if it involves getting to a point that it’s fulfilled without going further, that’s just plain selfishness and will eventually fade away into nothing. The reason being is that there is obviously more that can be taught to the world.
Success can be summed up by the following:Your thoughts originate from the files of information you have in the storage cabinets of your mind - T. Harv Eker Click To Tweet
Ultimately, success is all derived from the statement above from T. Harv Eker in his book “Secrets of the Millionaire Mindset”.
So to say that you are not successful (which is a result) is to say there are things in your mindset that need to be fixed. But the mind is not the controlling factor. It’s always your emotions that give you what you have. So to say the mindset is at cause is partially true. To be completely true, change the heart set.
Wasn’t that an awesome talk about why you need to take a chance on yourself. Take that jump!
Sure, there will be bumps and bruises, but those are only learning opportunities so that you don’t make that mistake again.
Succeed Like a Millionaire
Successful people own up to their faults. It makes them human and fallible. People don’t want to be associated with someone who never makes a mistake because they know they can’t compete. So if you’re trying to be perfect… STOP!
In the video above, Steve Harvey talks about Success and the biggest take away I learned is that there are going to be bumps and bruises. In other words, you will fail until you learn how to succeed at your skill/craft.
Without failure, what do you learn from your success? It seems like those that have a failure mindset seems to think that failure is bad and that you try to avoid failure. But what if you were told that for each failure you made you would make $10,000? Would you set out to fail? But not just to fail but to learn from those failures and turn them into successes! If you're waking up thinking there's got to be more to your life than it is. Man, believe that it is. - Steve Harvey Click To Tweet
The root of all the bad thinking about failure is that we are taught from a very young age in school to get every math problem correct. Do all your work and to the best of your ability to get an “A” in each class. All that proves is that you can follow instruction, right?!
To become a successful entrepreneur, you need to work on your mindset and learn new principles. Principles that Steve Harvey deems worthy of talking about to his audience.
