When you’ve started going to events, buying traffic, running free traffic strategies. All the stuff that you’re told to do when you first sign up for a new business. Yet, when you get going and you are consistently doing the things you’re told but do not make any money – that’s when there is a problem and you need to self analyze what’s going on.
I recently did a Facebook Live video to tackle this very question. So without further ado, let’s get into the 3 keys to start seeing results in your business today.

3 Keys To Start Seeing Results
So that you get the full benefit of this training, here are the 3 keys to making more money when you’re doing everything right.
- Get more eyeballs on your presentation – usually this is your link if you’re doing internet marketing.
- Not closing sales – this is a huge issue with people and a big reason why income may be smaller than it should be.
- IPA’s – Income Producing Activities are what you need to do in your business for the day. No Facebook news feed scrolling and wasting time looking at your news feed on any social network. Turn it off if you are not able to focus on IPA’s. THere’s a plug-in for Chrome that will allow you to turn off the news feed while you are working.
These are the three things that you need to be doing while building your business. It’s a matter of focus. If you want it bad enough then you’ll do whatever it takes to get to your goals.

It’s really time to jump off the fence and make the decision to start. That my friend, is how you make money. Build relationships, and make good decisions. Nothing hard to do – but you have to do it – that’s the only thing that could be hard. The rest is just follow the leader type of stuff and you’ll be on your way to 10k per month.
How Does Facebook Play A Part in Your Success?
Now, first, I wasn’t going to say anything about this in this post but because it’s a part of my success, I want to share it with you so that you can have success as well.
Facebook plays a big part of who I am with regards to my business. Now some people may not like it and that’s their choice. I post to both my personal page and my page (formerly a fan page). But for the most part I do the live videos on my page, then spread the word by posting the link to my other pages (personal and other group pages as well).
The first thing you’re going to want to do is to start split testing your ads. By this I mean you want to test things out like the age group, interests, locale, and then test your capture page too by using different colors, and different verbiage. All these things need to be tested.

The Need For More Eyeballs On Your Business
I used to think that you had to talk to people one on one to build a strong team of a 1000 people. This was back when I first started in home business and didn’t know any better. Now, there’s a thing called social media where you can chat with a friend or get to know someone through social media. But the option I like is called paid traffic. This is by far the best method if you’re looking to build your business fast and grow your team.
I think though, people shy away from paid traffic because they view it as a purchase and the product they expect to see are things like leads and sales. When those things do not come, buying traffic gets to be a very shaky deal. You have to go into the traffic buying part of your business with a good head that you’re in this for the long haul. One run does not make a champion. The same goes for buying traffic for your online business. This is just one of the 3 keys to start seeing results in your business.

The Art Of Closing Sales
There are new people who make money and experienced people who do not make money. The one common trait that keeps people from making money is not knowing how to close a sale. I’ve learned that to be a great salesperson, you need to be able to find what someone wants and then show them how to get it to them.
This is exactly what you need to do. When you’re showing people who they need what you want by providing value, showing them what your business is all about. That’s how to generate sales. Contrary to popular believe, spamming your link all over social media does not create value, nor does it create trust. So, out the door goes 2 of the 3 things you need to have people buy from you. To those that use the constant pounding of their business. Sure it works. But you’ll be getting a much lower conversion rate – meaning you’ll be working twice as hard to convert sales. The art of closing sales is the second of 3 keys to start seeing results in your business.
Income Producing Activities
So what exactly are IPA’s? As you see the title above you may start to think of the things that you would list under that label. However, I think the real IPA’s are as follows
- Finding and running quality traffic
- Connecting with people about your business one on one – even if it’s on social media
- Showing people how you run your business and the benefits of your business.
That’s pretty much all you need to do. IPA’s are simple and repeatable.
However, there’s a few other methods you can put in there, such as blogging, social media, banner advertising, solo ads, and any other method you choose to run traffic. Just remember to choose ONE and master it. I mean that with all my heart. I think I could be the poster child for trying as many traffic methods as I can without mastering any of them.
Stick with your IPA’s and do not veer from them. Your family will appreciate you more for doing that and you’ll get to enjoy life more as well. It’s a win-win situation for everyone.
