If you are thinking about getting into the online business arena or you are already in business for yourself then you probably have many social media accounts with a fan page associated to them. Fan Pages are a great example of how much you can connect with your customers. Most people don’t know the power of having Fan Pages and because of this, you have a chance to rise above the competition – if you do things the right way.
I’ve posted a video about how to set up Facebook pages and to be honest, the task can be a little overwhelming for the new person just starting out. For me, having a technical background, I tend to figure things out with less hassle and am able to explain things to others that need the help.
This is why I’m doing this blog post. There are several people who need to know how to set up Facebook Pages. I say this in the plural because if you only have one then you may be missing out on some of the subject matters that you love. For Instance, I love super cars, high-end cars, sports, health and nutrition products, and Jesus. (my next fan page is going to be for those that love Jesus – a Christian Fan Page).
These all convert into business customers if you do your postings correctly. There is a ratio of about 4 out of every 5 posts need to be value based and then on the 5th one you can send in the call to action. Why have Facebook Pages?
I’ve seen this question over and over. The biggest reason that you should have one of these pages is simply to put a divider between your personal page and your fan page. If you conduct business all the time in your personal page, people are going to either unfriend you or take you off of their news feed. They don’t want to see your business postings ALL OF THE TIME. Then, the only way to reach out to them is to pay Facebook for more exposure through boosted posts – which aren’t bad, but if you don’t have the money…
The other reason that I use this type of page is so that my business gets listed as a business within Facebook and I can be found on the search engines better. Once your page starts getting likes, you will see that trend of “Likes” trickle in. The key to keeping this going is obviously more exposure through free or paid advertising.
How Much Energy or Time Does it Take to Setup Facebook pages?
Honestly, I don’t think it takes that much time – maybe 15 minutes if you hurry through the prompts. The time is spent mostly in creative photos to put on your page and the deciding which category to place your Facebook pages. If all that is already done for you by a third-party like Fivver.com or Odesk.com, then all you are doing is placing photos into your banner and your profile picture, adding some content in the about page area so that people can visit your website, etc. That’s all.
Who Do You Want to Advertise your Page to After Setup?
You have the option to promote your page and that is where you can spend, spend, spend. Conversely, you can start inviting your friends on your personal page to like your page.Another quick little Facebook Pages tip: Start posting the link to your page in groups with an entertaining video. This will give them value, and a smile. Once you’ve done this people will start to trust you and will want to like your page without you asking them to do so.
So now that you can properly setup Facebook pages, I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Also, send me a message on social media asking me to like your page – because I would love to help you out!
Put your Facebook Page to Work for YOU!
There’s a great new tool that has recently come out to the marketplace and it’s called 22Social. it’s a way to add tabs to your fan page.
- It will allow you to create capture pages
- hold a google hangout
- do a sales video.
- Anything you can do with YouTube, Vimeo, or most any video hosting website.
- Clone pages already created by people such as your up line, or mentors using the 22social platform.
- Of course you are able to customize your buttons to go to links you specify as well as collecting data from your new lead.
The CRM is designed to help you connect with your followers. They are interested in your product, otherwise they wouldn’t have clicked the button. The programming within the button collects the Facebook data of that user and sends them to your autoresponder making them a new lead. You are now able to communicate with them and keep them attuned to what’s going on in your business and what I like to call “drip marketing”.
You can get your free trial of 22Social by clicking here. The really cool thing about this tool is that it doesn’t have to be an expense to you. If you refer 3 people, your account is free. If you’re one of those that wants to take an in-depth look at the tool – there’s a first month $2 pro account upgrade available as well.
So to recap:
- 22Social Free accountt gives you one page to create and learn about what it can do.
- Upgrade to the Pro10 account for $2 for the first month to get the ability to create 10 pages and make customizations to your pages.
- Refer 3 people to the Pro10 or Pro100 account and receive the same account free.
- Your Facebook Pages will flourish in conjunction with Facebook Paid Ads AND 22Social. So go get it now and start making things happen in your business.
