In life, we start out as an infant and grow into an adult. However, during this period, we will structure beliefs about people that will either hinder or grow our ability to be successful.
It’s said that the top 5 people that you hang around the most will determine the income that you make. So, why people are attracted to the negative side of this quote is something that is a mystery to a point.
I believe that those that do not go the way of success have been traumatized, hurt, scorned, or some sort of thing that has misguided their mindset or emotions. It’s in our best interest as parents to be protective of our kids and how they are treated each and every day. This is simply because each day has an impact on our child’s future in ways we will never comprehend.
What It Takes To Succeed
THere are many schools of thought that could literally take you several years to study and that would get you nowhere (slight exaggeration).
But if you were to boil down the strategies that would guarantee you success. Whatever success means to you. You would come up with a handful of items that would guarantee you success.
Here’s my list of things that would guarantee success in anyone’s life if they put these to work.
- Laser Focus with no interruptions.
- Change of mindset to a successful mindset.
- Find 5 friends that will reinforce your mindset.
- Choose your niche in the marketplace.
- Change your beliefs about people. They all want the same thing when it comes right down to it.
I’ll briefly go over those success principals so that it makes more sense. This should explain why I chose these 5 principals
Sometimes you hear this phrase being used without really considering how often it’s used. Perhaps it’s so true we don’t have any idea as to how to fix it.
What I have interpreted this to mean is in a literal sense. Be passionate about your business. It should be something like I was when playing baseball as a teen.
Baseball was my life. If I wasn’t in school, eating, or sleeping – I was playing baseball. Now it mostly meant I was playing a game because that’s how our teams rolled when we were playing during the summer. We had doubleheaders 2 – 3 times a week and then the playoffs were a breeze.
We all knew we were in this for the long haul and when we did practice it was to get better at something we did in the last game that was disappointing to our team, coach or ourselves.
Now, to be laser-focused on your business is to love or have a passion for your service to the marketplace. So much so, that you would do this same task or service FOR FREE if that’s what it meant for you.
Change of Mindset
Now, most (around 90%) of people entering into a business do not have the right mindset to keep up the work that is needed to make a success of a business right out of the gate. That’s why you need to change your mindset.
How do I change my mindset, Jon?
I’m glad you asked.
The biggest thing that you can do it at all possible is to read books that are considered self-help books. Not only will that help you agree with what you need to come into line with mentally but if you read these books aloud it will happen much sooner.
Next, you’ll want to start choosing your friends more wisely. It’s said that…You are the average of the 5 friends that you hang out within all areas of your life. #Financially #Emotionally #Physically Click To Tweet

Find Good Friends To Associate With Yourself
Just like the tweet above says, you ARE the average of those that you hang around.
So if you want to be wealthy, find some really wealthy people that will allow you to be in their circle of friends.
This doesn’t mean you need to live close by either. If you have a mastermind that you run once a week via zoom or some web conferencing app, then by all means, take advantage of that and learn from their successes and failures. Trust me on this, if they got wealthy the right way, they will dispell any bad notions about people and help you change your beliefs about people.
Ultimately this will change your position in life for the best.
Choose Your Niche
I have heard so many people complain about the niche that they are serving or that they don’t know what niche to choose. In fact, I may have been one of those people in the beginning. But what I found out was that if you complain all the time that’s what you’ll get out of life.
A BUNCH OF COMPLAINING LEMONS
Finding something that you can add to the marketplace or help others can be a very lucrative proposition. We all have problems we want to be solved. So go out and solve some problems with all the passion you can muster up.
It’s those that push forward and really love what they are doing that can make lemonade out of those lemons…
…without complaining or even sounding like your complaining.

Beliefs About People
This is one area that I had lost the battle.
Or so I thought.
I started changing my mindset by reading books and listening to audios. They all didn’t agree with me but I found the ones that I really resonated with like Eric Worre, Amy Landino, Tony Robbins, Casey Neistat, and Peter McKinnon. The list continues to build but I listen to what they have to say about making it in their niche. Check out their respective websites/blogs and learn from them as well.
The last thing that I’d like to mention is that you are in control of your every move. Whether you have failed in the past. Get back up.
I’m going to leave you with a tweet that I believe you should tweet because it’s an encouragement to you and others. You have EVERYTHING you need RIGHT NOW to SUCCEED. Now go out and use your skills and talents to #ChangeTheWorld. #Peace #ImOut Click To Tweet
